Biography

Graziella Di Grezia, MD, PhD, is a Tenure Track Researcher in Radiology (SSD MED/22) at Link Campus University of Rome. She obtained the National Scientific Qualification as Associate Professor in Diagnostic Imaging, Radiotherapy, and Neuroradiology (SSD 06/I1) in 2025. She holds a PhD in Pharmacological Sciences and Clinical and Experimental Medicine and a specialization in Radiodiagnostics, both from the Second University of Naples, where she also earned her Medical Degree with highest honors. Additionally, she completed a Second-Level Master’s in Senological Imaging and Intervention at the University of Rome Tor Vergata and a Management Training Course for Healthcare Directors.


From 2017 to 2024, she served as Permanent Medical Director in Radiology at PO “G. Criscuoli” Sant’Angelo dei Lombardi (ASL Avellino), where she led mammographic screening programs and the Senological Diagnostics Unit. She has also held appointments at IRCCS “G. Pascale” Naples and various ASL units across Campania. Her academic experience includes lecturing and teaching appointments at the University of Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli” and the University of Naples “L. Vanvitelli.”


Her research focuses on breast imaging, radiomics, structured reporting, artificial intelligence in diagnostics, and gender health. She has contributed as Principal Investigator and co-author in national and international studies, including the BRECARD Study (NCT03779217) and research on false positives in tomosynthesis screening (NCT04259866). She has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science.


She serves on the editorial boards of BMC Medical Imaging, Diagnostics (MDPI), Current Medical Imaging, and other journals, and acts as a reviewer for leading journals such as European Radiology and The Lancet Oncology. She is currently a Board Member (2025–2027) of the Senology Section of the Italian Society of Medical and Interventional Radiology (SIRM) and an active member of ESR, EUSOBI, and the EUBREAST Network. Among her recognitions, she received the Best Oral Presentation Award at the 2017 National Congress of the Italian Psychogeriatrics Association and the National First Prize “Geriatria Domani” in 2019. Fluent in Italian and proficient in English, with reading comprehension in French and Spanish, she combines clinical, academic, and research excellence in the field of diagnostic and breast imaging.
