This session will highlight the evolution of these therapies and explore how ongoing advancements are applied in modern oncology to treat various types of cancer.

Cancer Surgery aims to remove the cancerous tissue, either in part or completely, depending on the type and stage of the Cancer. This session will discuss the advancements in surgical techniques and the role of surgery in modern oncology, including minimally invasive procedures that reduce recovery time and improve outcomes.

While highly effective, Cytotoxic Chemotherapy can also impact healthy cells, leading to significant side effects.  The session will explore recent developments in chemotherapy to enhance its effectiveness while minimizing adverse effects.

Radiation and Surgical Therapy category covers the different types of radiation therapy, such as external beam radiation and brachytherapy, and how they are integrated into comprehensive treatment plans. Often combined with surgery, it is a crucial tool in the treatment of localized cancers. 

Immunotherapy Sub-session covers various forms of immunotherapy, including checkpoint inhibitors and CAR-T cell therapy whereas Targeted therapy focuses on specific molecules involved in cancer growth, offering more precise and less toxic treatment options. 

Cryotherapy uses extreme cold to destroy cancer cells, particularly in early-stage and localized cancers. Stem Cell and Bone Marrow Transplant sessions will delve into the complexities of these procedures, including donor selection, transplantation, and post-transplant care.

Risk and Side Effects of Treatment category will address the importance of managing these challenges, focusing on patient-centered approaches that prioritize quality of life while maximizing treatment efficacy.
